Membership Requirements

All members are required to contribute to the running of the service by either completing volunteer shifts or financial investment.

One volunteer roster shift is required per term for concession and standard membership types.

Children are welcome to accompany you to your roster shift.

You must give at least 48hrs notice if you can’t make your shift to allow time to find a replacement. (Emergencies will be taken into consideration).

If four roster shifts are missed within a 12 month period on Concession or Standard memberships, your membership will be terminated and security fee lost.

If you are unable to commit to roster shifts then the Non Duty Membership type is recommended or please contact committee for alternative arrangements.

A list of dates for our roster shifts are available online in our Mibase system, for members to nominate a morning that suits.

We encourage new members to select their first roster shift, whilst at the library, so that you can be paired with an experienced member while you learn the procedures.
